The HeaterLogix ceramic strip heater is designed with a stainless steel sheath that encases a high-temperature ceramic insulator and a Nickel Chrome wire coil. Magnesium Oxide (MgO) is used to fill all the empty spaces within the sheath, ensuring the most effective heat transfer possible.
These strip heaters from HeaterLogix are 3/8 inch thick, 1 1/2 inches wide, and can be customized to meet your specific requirements. They are versatile and suitable for both high and low-watt density applications. You can choose between finned or flat construction to tailor the heat transfer to your needs.
What sets HeaterLogix ceramic strip heaters apart is their ability to withstand high temperatures that would typically limit other heaters to 40 to 45 watts per square inch. The terminals are constructed from stainless steel and are securely connected to the sheath to prevent twisting under normal conditions.
HeaterLogix also offers various termination options, including the standard 2-leg (single-phase) termination and the optional 3-leg (3-phase) terminal when needed. Additionally, these terminations can be equipped with water-resistant features for use in damp environments. It's worth noting that these strip heaters are UL-approved and come with warranty coverage for voltages up to 480 volts.
